Dhanush will begin shooting for Vetrimaaran's Asuran from THIS date - deets here
After delivering a hit flick with their recent association Vada Chennai, Dhanush and Vetrimaaran will collaborate again for their next which is titled Asuran. Dhanush had announced this project a while ago and had also unveiled his look from the film. And now, the actor reveals the date from which they will begin canning the scenes. Dhanush took to his Twitter page and revealed that Asuran will go on the floors from January 26 and the actor-director seems quite kicked about this project. "We will start filming #asuran from January 26th !! A Vetrimaaran film. Looking forward to yet another adventure," [sic] tweeted Dhanush today. Fans of the actor will be quite excited about this after the super success of Vada Chennai.

Asuran will be the fourth collaboration of Dhanush and Vetrimaaran and all of their films have been superhits. According to reports, the film is said to be an adaptation of a book titled Vekkai. Vetrimaaran is known for making dark genre movies which appeal to larger section of the audience. The recent release Vada Chennai too belonged to the same genre and is one of the biggest hits of 2019.
.Asuran will be funded by Kalaipuli Thanu under the banner of V Creations. The music of the film will be composed by GV Prakash and this will be fourth project for the music composer to collaborate with Dhanush.
