'Neeya 2' trailer to release on February 1
The film is not a sequel to the Kamal Hassan starrer 'Neeya' but will share some similarities with the core plot. Also, it is evident from the posters that the film will incorporate snakes into its narrative, with Raai Laxmi and Varalaxmi said to be donning a 'Naagin' look.
The film stars Jai, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Raai Laxmi and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles along with Bala Saravanan, who will provide comic relief in the film. Shabir has been roped in to compose music for the film. Gopi Krishna will be in charge of editing the film, while Rajavel Mohan will crank the camera.
